Harvest Time
In the United States, people give thanks at this time.
They gather together for a Thanksgiving meal.
In the fall, farmers pick the food they grow
in their fields. This is called the harvest.
It is a special time. People are happy.
Now they have food for the winter.
They eat turkey, vegetables, and pumpkin pie.
They think about people in the past. Life was

People march, dance, and sing.
It is a fun time for all.
