LETTER ENGAGEMENT

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is to confirm my engagement as your counsel in your criminal case with the
Municipal Trial Court (“MTC”) Branch 88 of Parañaque City entitled “GGG vs. LLL”
subject to the following terms and conditions:

1. Acceptance Fee: The acceptance fee shall be in the amount of Thirty

Thousand Pesos (Php30,000.00) payable upon your conformity to this Engagement Letter;

2. Appearance Fees: The rate of Five Thousand Pesos (Php 5,000.00),

exclusive of VAT, for every hearing attended before any court or tribunal, and for any
representation required before any government agency, relative to the aforesaid case;

3. Pleading Fees: The rate of One Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (Php
1,500.00) per page, exclusive of VAT, shall be applied for every page of any pleading filed
before the MTC and the Regional Trial Court (“RTC”), should appeal be required, while the
rate of Two Thousand Pesos (“Php 2,000.00), exclusive of VAT, shall be applied for the
same should the instant case be raised before the Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court;

4. Miscellaneous Expenses: Out of pocket expenses, including, but not limited

to representations, transportation expenses, photocopy expenses, mailing and notarial fees, if
any, shall be advanced by me and will be billed to your account.

If you are amenable to the foregoing terms and conditions, please signify your
conformity by affixing your signature below the word “CONFORME” and return one (1)
copy for our files. This shall serve as our retainer agreement for the handling of the above-
captioned case.
