D. Job Set−Up

(1) Open the aft equipment−compartment access door (311BB)

(TASK 52−41−00−010−801).

E. Procedure

Refer to Figure 601.

On A/C 5301 to 5356 Pre SB 604−79−001

(1) Make sure the CHIP DETECT indicators on JB5 are black and not black and white.

On A/C 5357 to 5665 and 5301 to 5356 Post SB 604−79−001

(2) Make sure the CHIP DETECT LED indicator lights on JB5 are not on.

NOTE: If an indicator is tripped, reset the indicator and do a ground power

assurance check (TASK 71−00−00−866−819). If all performance
parameters are within manual limits and the indicator is not tripped,
continue operations. If the indicator tripped again, do the fault isolation for
the ELECTRICAL MASTER CHIP DETECTOR INDICATION (SEI−780 −
Fault Isolation 48).

(3) Do the operational test of the engine oil−indication board

(TASK 79−21−00−710−801).

F. Close Out

(1) Remove all tools, equipment, and unwanted materials from the work area.

(2) Close the aft equipment−compartment access door (311BB)

(TASK 52−41−00−410−801).
