ACTIVITY PROPOSAL

1. TITLE: Project SAYA (Students’ Awareness & Youths’ Activeness)

2. SCHEDULE: MAY 3, 2024 (8:00 AM)

4. LOCATION: La Purisima Covered Court, La Purisima, Nabua, Camarines Sur

5. OBJECTIVES:
 To provide entertainment, joy, and a positive environment to the children of
barangay La Purisima, Nabua, Camarines Sur which values teamwork and
creativity.
 To improve learning, promote civic engagement, and strengthen communities
through addressing their societal needs
 To actualize one's desire to work together with other people and build
"communities of solidarity through actual community work and concrete
development projects
 To provide our students with the tools they need to prove to society that they can
excel and become leaders in the community
 To teach every community the value of helping CHILDREN get on top of the
pillars of their dreams.
6. IMPLEMENTING UNIT:
La Purisima National High School’s SHS Department and SSLG Office

7. RATIONALE:
Project SAYA is a program proposed in compliance with the SSLG’s yearly
project, and the Grade 12 – HUMSS subject “Community Engagement, Solidarity, and
Citizenship” focuses on community and aims to enhance HUMMS student’s leadership
and communication skills.
An outreach program aims to help, uplift, and support those deprived of certain
services and rights. A program must be organized to use resources and aid to fulfill a
goal. Successful community outreach programs must have project
leaders at their core.
8. ACTIVITIES:
 First is the “Pangayamon” where different physical and mind games will be
presented to challenge children’s strength and knowledge and bring back the
traditional games so that children won’t be engaged in too many online or mobile
games.
 Second will be the “Busog-Lusog” where nutritious and delicious food will be
served to make children’s tummies full after playing.
 The last part is the “Ukay-Saya” where clothes will be displayed and children will
have the chance to choose freely and will serve also as a souvenir.
