Our study involved a pragmatic investigation wherein we visited a proximate business

establishment. Regrettably, direct communication with the proprietor was not feasible; however,

the courteous staff graciously facilitated our inquiries and provided insightful responses.

Presented herewith are the ensuing findings and pertinent data gleaned from our encounter.

“JuanderSilog” located at Mabini Ave., Catbalogan City, Samar.

2. Background/ History

Since its inception in 2022, JuanderSilog has been captivating the hearts and taste buds of

patrons seeking a delectable fusion of Filipino comfort food and vibrant nightlife. Owned

and operated by Juan Silvestre Villarin, son of esteemed restaurateurs Modesto and

Corazon Villarin, JuanderSilog has become a beloved establishment nestled in the heart

of the city.

Formerly a glass hardware store, the space now occupied by JuanderSilog underwent a

remarkable transformation. Juan renovated the space to reflect the warm and inviting

ambiance that defines JuanderSilog today. Inspired by his own name, it pays homage to

the classic Filipino silog dishes – a delightful combination of sinangag (garlic fried rice),

itlog (egg), and a choice of protein – JuanderSilog goes beyond traditional boundaries,
