Re: REQUEST TO ALTER YEAR FOUR STUDENTS’ FINAL SEMESTER.

We hereby humbly write with reference to the above subject on behalf of students pursuing
bachelor degrees in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. This
cohort is part of the 2020/2021 intake but are currently in the first semester of their final year of
study.

As response to the communication from Senate and Faculty Board (students giving their opinion
on the issue concerning End of semester examinations and the October, 2024 graduation),
majority of the students decided that;

1. Despite reporting a month later than the rest(due to industrial training that ran till 1st
March, 2024), we are willing to do end of semester examinations only on condition that
graduating in October, 2024 is guaranteed for us.
2. Start the final semester immediately after the examinations so that we can be ready for
graduation in October, 2024.
