In continuation to the application submitted to NMC, New Delhi on 4 th July 2023. I, Tamkeen
Qureshi, a 79-year-old woman, owner and resident of 31-B, First Floor, DDA Flats, Taimoor Nagar,
New Delhi-65. Submitting as here under:
That Mr. Jyoti Singh, is the legal owner and resident of 31-A, ground floor, DDA Flats, Taimoor
Nagar, New Delhi-65.
To further enlarge upon the details of the application submitted on 4th of July 2023 at your office
(Copy attached in annexure)
I state as hereunder:
1. Mr. Jyoti Sigh often carries out renovation work in his flat and the DDA-constructed beams and
pillars of the aforesaid property which he legally owns have been removed.
2. The structural strength of the building is at risk. My property is at risk in case of natural
calamities like earthquakes etc occur. There is a likelihood that we can be blamed, in case such a
natural calamity occurs and causes damage to the building.
3. My room facing the road its walls and floor have started to sag due to which the door cannot be
shut down or closed completely.
4. He still has not cleared the passage area leading to the scooter garage. Which has rendered the
scooter garage unaccessible.
5. In addition, after our complaint Mr Jyoti, has threatened RWA, In RWA WhatsApp group on 21
Nov 2023 he posted to boycott, those who are complaining against him. And that somebody is
throwing some wax from above to burn his car. (Attached are the screenshot of the message in
Annexure and of images posted by him on the group.)
6. Messages were posted on RWA WhatsApp group that we called goons from ( Zakir Nagar ) when
he complained about seepage in his bathroom.
7. He has put up his water tank on our roof terrace. And he deliberately let the tank overflow to
cause seepage in the roof. My neighbours have informed me about the issue, and after our
repeated requests he has not removed the water tank from my premises. Image No 1. Attached
is the annexure.
8. He has installed iron ladder steps on the exterior of my room wall to access his water tank on my
terrace. Using which anybody could get access to my property, it’s a severe security concern.
Also, there is a severe electric earthing hazard during rain thunder and lightning strikes. Image
No. 2 is attached in the annexure.
9. Images no. 3 onwards, in the annexure, are regarding several repair works we have undertaken
upon his complaint of seepage in the bathroom from time to time. Twice we repaired the WC
seat, removed behind-wall bathroom fittings and in place installed visible plastic pipe fittings in
our entire flat, have carried out several repair works in the shaft area. Another series of repair
work is carried out from 12 Dec 23 onwards and bathroom and toilet floors were excavated. No
problem was found by the plumbers and mistri. ( Attached are Images )
10. Attached is a copy of the heinous legal notice that he sent us in March 2022, alleging that we
threw cow meat in his house and other false allegations. Fearing for our lives we had to relocate
for a month.
That, I request your kind self to take appropriate action and forward the details to the concerned
authorities.
