MAP imports reached 13,500t in December with the
US supplying 8,000t and Russia 5,500t. Full year imports
reached 175,000t with 58pc coming from the US and 25pc
from Russia. Morocco supplied another 15pc. The total is an
85,000t increase on the 91,000t imported in 2022 as ship-
ments from all three major suppliers rose substantially, and
roughly on par with imports in 2021 and 2020.

The company posted a fourth quarter loss of $603mn,
