Leave wire ends for the left hand frame. Crochet the left hand after the vest!
Make a chain of 15 ch (this is the central line of the back along the “spine”) and
crochet 14 sc in turning rows, ch in each row. When reaching the armhole,
crochet: 2 sc, 4 ch, skip 4 stitches and crochet sc in the fifth stitch and continue to
the end… continue turning rows. For the collar, increase: 3 hdc, 5 sc, 3 ch, turn, 5
hdc, 3 hdc, 6 sc, ch. One more row of 7 hdc and + 1 more row. After the vest is
crocheted and fitted, insert wire ends (arms) into the hole and into the body hole.
The ends should come out of the hole on the opposite side of the body and vest,
make a frame for the fingers of the left hand from these ends. Crochet the left
hand similarly to the right one and sew the hands to the body.
Foot
Using a 1.25 mm hook and main color yarn (wrap with polymer foot)
Next rnds: (6 sc, dec) 6 times = 42, and so on, decrease according to the formula:
(X sc, dec) 6 times = …. 5….= 36, 4…..= 30, 3…..= 24, 2…..= 18, 1…..= 12, 6 dec +
dec, = 5 sc. Crochet around the foot with 5 sc in a spiral, reaching the knee.
Rnd 1: 2 inc, 3 sc = 7
Rnd 2: 7 sc
Rnd 3: 2 dec, 3 sc = 5, continue with 5 sc. At the end, make two increases on the
sides and two more rows with 7 sc. Leave yarn for sewing.
Slippers
Cut two insoles from faux leather and crochet 2 sc in one hole with regular thin
yarn… I got 32 pairs. Crochet a disk with plush yarn and a 2.1 mm hook and
crochet around the slippers along the perimeter.
I made teeth out of polymer clay and sewed them on. You can glue a red felt
piece under the teeth. Embroider eyelashes and make a hairstyle… I crocheted a
carrot from cotton thread + inserted wooden beads in a checkered pattern, tied
leather cords instead of leaves. Ladies, I’ve described all the main work, but you
can add or subtract small details on your own. Keep crocheting and don’t forget
about me. Gratitude is the greatest of benefactions!
