356 God created man with dignity due to his incalculable love for his creation.

He created him to
share in God's life, allowing him to taste his eternal Good. This love is the fundamental reason for man's
existence.

357 He is capable of self-knowledge, of self-possession and of freely giving himself and entering into
communion with other persons. and he is called by grace to a covenant with his Creator, to offer him a
response of faith and love that no other creature can give in his stead.

358 God's creation is man, a great and wonderful living creature, more precious than all other
creatures. He values salvation and spares his Son for man's sake. God continues to work until man is
raised up and sits at his right hand.

359 St. Paul explain that human race takes its origin from two men: Adam and Christ. Adam, a living
soul, was created by the final Adam, who inherited his soul. The second Adam imprinted his likeness on
him, adopting the first Adam's identity. The last Adam has no end, declaring himself the first and last.

360 The shared nature, immediate purpose, and mission of humanity in the world, as well as the
blessings of the earth and the supernatural purpose, methods of achieving this purpose, and redemption
accomplished by Christ for all peoples, all share a common origin in God. This amazing vision emphasizes
the interconnectedness of humanity and its common goal.
