INTERVIEW SESSION
The Interviewee: Can you tell us about the challenging situation you went through
while you were handling the staff?

Dr. Shahreen: The staff do not provide cooperation as required. If this happens,
immediate action must be taken to take over the task from the staff
involved and give the best advice to the staff and provide other work
that the staff is able to perform.

The Interviewee: What about the effect after the pandemic?

Dr. Shahreen: From my personal point of view, some of the staff are not exposed to
face work during this pandemic. We can see the motivation of staff
fluctuations. Therefore, staff need to be helped by reminding them and
myself of the trust and responsibility of our work.

The Interviewee: Along with IR 4.0, what are the preparations for digital change?

Dr. Shahreen: My preparation in facing this digital change is to invite the team or staff
to be ready for this transformation. Expose staff to online document
submission, communication as well as online meetings. When this
digitization occurs, the client or student hopes to get some info or
feedback quickly. Even so, inculcate also conventional and ethical
values in this digital transformation.

The Interviewee: What are hopes for TVET institutions in the future?

Dr. Shahreen: My hope is that TVET at UTHM will continue to be implemented


because the student talents produced by UTHM are more trained and
competent which can help the industry and the job market.
