ACTION PLAN
Department:
Purpose: To create an action plan for the operationalization and standardization of Research and Extension for every department.
Directions:
1. Using this form, identify the department’s Goal to standardize and operationalize Research and Extension within the department based
on the initial needs assessment after the Local Benchmarking Activity.
2. Formulate an action plan to attain the identified goal by delineating specific steps, assigning responsible individuals/offices, estimating
the duration required for implementation, identifying necessary resources, and anticipating potential barriers your department may
encounter.
3. It is recommended that copies of this form be disseminated to all faculty members within the department, in addition to the Research
Council members, to facilitate collaboration and consolidation.
4. Submit your department’s Action Plan no later than March 1, 2024.

Note: Please bear in mind that this is essential for our Strategic Planning with the stakeholders tentatively scheduled this June 20-21. Also,
our target date for developing Institutional Research Thrusts, Priorities, and Agenda is within this semester for implementation in the next
academic year. Therefore, timely submission of the required documents to the R&E Office by each department is imperative.
