In Genii Hut, it has been our long-standing practice to give
5 paid leaves to employees who have been with the
company for over 12 months. We previously called these
Service Incentive Leaves (SIL). Additional benefit to that, is
for every additional year with the company an additional
one (1) paid leave is given as a token of gratitude for
tenure.

Since the giving of these leave credits are refreshed at the

start of the year, so as not to confuse with "service
incentive" which implies that it is accrued based on
months of service rendered within the year, we are now
choosing to call these Vacation Leaves (VL), starting
January 2023.

Thus, your Vacation Leaves are outlined in the table below:

For all employees with less than 2 years with the company, accrual-based accumulation
of paid leaves follows.

2.5 Vacation Leaves upon 6th month of employment

An additional 2.5 Vacation Leaves upon the 1st year of employment, a

total of 5 Vacation Leave for the whole year

The 5 Vacation Leaves are renewed in the next year, if unused for the
year, the credits are convertible to cash
