Stakeholders
Below are the key stakeholders of the project:
Customers
Customers are the primary users of the Zara Website as they use the platform to
purchase clothes. Moreover, they will be the end-users who will be directly interacting with
the newly developed features. Thus, customer satisfaction and feedback completely rely on
the website (Watts, 2022).
Zara’s Management Team
Zara’s management team has invested heavily in building their online presence as one
of their business strategies to generate more revenues. This is because they want their e-
commerce website to be a highly successful component as it aligns with their business
objectives. Moreover, the performance of their e-commerce website could directly impact
their revenue and they are also held accountable for their stakeholders who have invested in
their company. Finally, Zara needs to maintain their brand reputation by having cutting-edge
features on their website.
Product Owners
Product Owners of the team are responsible for maintaining regular communications
with Zara in order to understand the features that need to be implemented. Secondly, they are
also responsible for prioritizing the tasks that need to be deployed first on the website.
Development Team
The development team of the project includes the developers and designers who are
responsible for developing and testing the newly added features in the website. Moreover,
they are an essential part of the success of the project.
Testing Team
Similar to the development team, these testers are responsible for testing each feature and
approving whether these features perform and produce the expected results. In addition, they
need to verify whether the features are compatible with all devices such as mobile and
desktops (Harvard Business Review, 2016).
Customer Support at Zara
The Customer Support employees at Zara need to be trained about the new features and
their functionalities. This is crucial as customers might not be aware of the newly developed
features, thus it is the responsibility of customer support employees to clarify and help the
customers.
Legal and Compliance
It is the responsibility of both Zara and the team to verify whether the additional
features are in accordance with compliance such as data privacy, consumer rights, and secure
online transactions.
Third-Party Partners
 The project could have an influence on third-party partners of Zara and might include
payment gateway partners like PayPal, Google Pay, and other Credit card options where
customers make secure payments for their respective orders. Furthermore, Zara’s cloud
hosting services like AWS or Google cloud who provide infrastructure and measure the e-
commerce website performance and reliability.
Analytical Team of Zara
The analytical team of Zara is responsible for tracking and analyzing the data that they
receive from their e-commerce website. They need to analyze the data which the amount of
website traffic, behavior of the customers, and the conversion rates post the implementation
of the new features in the website.
Supply Chain and Logistics
There is a high possibility that there could be high online orders for Zara due to the
modifications of the website. This is because, as the website becomes more customer-
friendly, there could be more new customers to the website than usual. Thus, the supply chain
operators need to schedule more deliveries.
