ABSTRACT
A homestay provides an opportunity to stay with a local family for a fee. It's an affordable accommodation alternative, ideal for
independent leisure travelers of all ages, interns, gap year students, students living abroad and anyone seeking a real and genuine travel
experience. With the fact that Covid-19 has caused a big impact to the many industries in Malaysia including the tourism and hospitality
industry, homestays are one of them. Homestays are in need of upgrading to cope with the situation these days. So, the solution is using
this Remote Homestay Accessibility and Security System for a better, safer, and efficient experience.
The waste of electricity is still a common topic among homestays in Malaysia because
of the negligence of the customers to turn off appliances when checking out.
