A BAD CHOICE

If you’re looking for a restaurant for that special meal, there is one place that I do not advise you to
visit. My meal at Pastamania Italian restaurant on Kraków market square was one of the worst I can
remember. I had heard that it was a great place for a romantic dinner for two, but it wasn’t. So what
exactly was the problem?
To start with, the restaurant was very old inside, with tables and chairs which looked as if they were at
least fifty years old. The floor wasn’t clean, and the lighting was either too bright or too dark. The next
problem was the waiter, who was unfriendly and was wearing scruffy clothes. The service was
incredibly slow, and we had to wait for half an hour for our food.
When it finally arrived, it looked tasty, but it was both overcooked and bland. The pasta was too soft
and it was swimming in something that looked more like water than sauce. What’s more, our wine was
too warm and the desserts were tasteless. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. It was the
worst eating out experience of my life.
