one is cylinder based (Rotogravure Printing) and second is plate based (Flexo Printing). In
Cylinder based machines design is already imposed in roller and the same is to be print on the
film. They have 8 color and 10 colour Italy based and uflex machine. Plating machines are more
advanced and take less space in comparison to roller but the capital cost is high of these
machines. It uses a plates with a raised surface to print directly on to the print material.

Sanjay Pandey (Security) – Mr. Sanjay Pandey Had cleared the dos and don’ts of the plant
premises. He had clear about security prortcols, Gate entries, timing and disciplinary action.

Lamination (Mr. Agresh Kumar) - Lamination is a process where two or more flexible packaging
web are bind together using a bond agent. This can be paper, films or aluminum foils.
Lamination adhesive for flexible packaging can be Solvent based or solvent less.

Extrusion (Mr. Sanjay Singh) - Extrusion lamination is a process where two films bind together
using a layer of molten resin extruded through machines. Both lamination, Extrusion create
custom packaging films to meet customer specific requirement. However extrusion Lamination
has distinct advantage when thickness, carrying heavy load or puncture resistance are key
consideration.

Payroll (Mr. Ajay Kumar)- Provided details in relation to HR Policies, Traveeling Policies, Office
Timing, Month cycle, Process for applying OD and attendance correction if any wrong details has

Pouching: - Pouch packaging is a flexible packaging product made from barrier film, foil, and
with cap fitments that supports flowable liquid products. Pouches are designed with the flexible
needs of the consumer in mind, as there are flexible sizing options to fit any product.

Cement Division & WPP:- In the cement division tubing can be done in two forms i.e. flat and
gassete formation The various packaging stock that can be produced are:

1. Block bottom bag making

2. Pinch bottom bag making

3. Slider zipper bag making

4. Stitched bag

Each of these process are similar to each other but differs in the delivery and requirement of the
stock. After lamination it comes to the cement department in which the flat tube is converted
into tubular form and is sticked using glue/ hot air welding and further passed through roller
pressed and then cooled

 Day 5- Date- 01-02-2024

ESG- (Mr. Shadab Alam):- ESG stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance. It is a
framework used to evaluate a company's sustainability and ethical impact. The role of an ESG is
to ensure accountability and the implementation of systems and processes to manage a
company's impact, such as its carbon footprint and how it treats employees, suppliers and other
stakeholders.

Below are the criteria of ESG

Environmental: - Environmental factors involve considerations of an organization's overall

impact. Examples of the environmental factor;

1. Energy consumption and efficiency.

2. Carbon footprint, including greenhouse gas emissions.
3. Waste management.
4. Air and water pollution.

Social: - Social factors address how a company treats different groups of people -- employees,
suppliers, customers, community members and more. The criteria used include these examples:

1. Fair pay for employees.

2. Diversity, equity and inclusion.
3. Employee experience and engagement.
4. Workplace health and safety.
5. Fair treatment of customers and suppliers.
6. Customer satisfaction levels.
Governance:- Governance factors examine how a company polices itself, focusing on internal
controls and practices to maintain compliance with regulations, industry best practices and
corporate policies. Examples include the following:

1. Company leadership and management.

2. Board composition, including its diversity and structure.
3. Executive compensation policies.
4. Financial transparency and business integrity.
5. Regulatory compliance and risk management initiatives.
6. Ethical business practices.
7. Rules on corruption, bribery, conflicts of interest, and political donations and lobbying.
8. Whistleblower programs

Recycling:- The recycling plant was introduce to recycle the internally generated waste which was
further extended towards external plastic waste collection and recycling. Plant No. of m/c – 5 nos
Capacity – 500t / month. There are two type of waste we are recycling one is MLP and second is Pet
plastic bottles. Multi-layered plastic (MLP) packaging is a type of plastic that is composed of multiple
layers of different types of plastic. These layers are fused together to create a material that is resistant
to moisture, light, and air, making it ideal for food and beverage packaging. MLP packaging is commonly
used for snacks, candies, and beverages, among other things.

These multiple layers prevent food contamination and help in transport and storage. Hence, this is the
best way in which packaged food can reach people, say, food majors. But waste collectors and rag
pickers typically don’t collect this waste, as it is an extremely low value (INR 2-4/Kg compared to INR 25-
30/Kg for PET, for example) and is therefore doomed to litter our streets, dumps, and sewage canals.

A wide range of drinks, food products and other consumer goods are bottled in PET. The majority of
bottles contain water or soft drinks, both still and carbonated. Other goods bottled in PET include edible
oil, vinegar, milk, and shampoo.

Waste is separated and accumulated at source and then in the form of bales are transported to the
recycling plant which are further transferred to the machines which treats each plant separately which
are mainly PP, Mix PE, PP 1no. grade etc, as per the inputs While for PCR, washing is done as it is a road
waste collection which passing on to the recycling machine are converted into granules and can be
converted to seat only. The plastic waste as input is being feeded through the conveyor and through the
cutter/ compactor are broken down into pieces which is further heated in Extruder at the temperature
of 250 – 280C in which further curing is done with water and further dried.
