UCMP standard for China
3.18 unintended car movement
Car moves without any moving command when at door area with door open, not including
movement caused by loading and unloading.

9.11 unintended car movement protection


Hall door unlock and car door unclosed, in case of unintended car movement caused by
traction machine or drive control system out of function at door area, car should has the
device which to stop this unintended movement. Not including the out of function of hoist
rope or driving sheave or roller.

1. IM needs UCMP if braking part not in same axis with driving sheave.
2. IM with UCMP needs a auxiliary brake.
3. PM with the function of advanced open door or re-leveling needs UCMP .
4. PM needs regular detection for braking force with the same standard of Europe.

Explanation:
1. SCB – A with A3 certification, can be used in Europe
and other countries.
2. SCB-A1 without A3 certification, the same use with
SCB-A.
3. Add car door contactor in control cabinet when using
SCB-C.
4. When installing leveling sensors, make sure h3 is less
then 150mm.

Braking force monitoring
Manual testing :
A、Set F7-20=2, lift shields car call and hall call command, and shields open door command.
B、Door lock valid, shorting motor stator contactor outputs , main contactor outputs .
C、DSP run command is valid, DSP outputs a torque to detect braking force.
D、After DSP braking force is finished ,MCB stops the output of main contactor and shorting motor
stator contactor.
E、The detection result will be saved in F7-25 。
F、Car call and hall call function return normal, door function returns normal.
If F7-25=2,it means braking force unqualified.
If F7-25=2,it shows E66.
To reset E66, do braking force testing again and with the result that F7-25=1.

Braking force monitoring
Automatic detection :
1、Set F7-09=1, open automatic detection function ;
2、Set F7-10 detection circle ;
3、Set F7-11 detection time . At detection time for every circle, lift will stop and do braking force test
without call command.

Braking force monitoring

Explanation:

1. Amplitude of detective torque can be changed by different setting of F2-3, and


continuous time by F2-3.
2. When detective torque is constant, start to monitor the pulse of encoder feedback. If
the change is more than the setting of F2-3, we judge the braking force is unqualified.
3. From the beginning to the end of braking force detection, it will monitor slip distance. If
the value big than F2-35 , MCB stops output torque.
4. If braking force detection is unqualified, it will show E66. To reset this error , do the test
again with the result F7-25=1.

SCB-A/A1 solution

The same with advanced

UCMP explanation :
For unintended car movement ,
SCB-A module outputs to cut off
door lock short circuit and brake
operates to stop the car.
(higher priority than relay output )

Explanation of door lock short circuit detection &protection function


By the change of X26\X27 input to judge whether door lock is short connected or not ,
which to protect next run operation of lift after short connected.

Attention: X26 only for door lock short circuit detection, X27 is door lock input.

UCMP solution –explanation of MCB auxiliary function

Explanation of MCB auxiliary function


1、UCM detection :
1) In the case of shorting door lock circuit contactor with output, detect door area signal changes
from valid to invalid and door lock signal off. Lift will show E65 UCMP error, 5A level error. Lift stops
running and shorting door lock circuit contactor stops output.
2) when controller at stop state, door area signal changes from valid to invalid and door lock signal
off, and at the same time one leveling signal is judged invalid. Lift will show E65 UCMP error , 5A
level error.
reset condition :
1)E65 can not automatic reset no matter power off and repower or not.
2)can be reset in ins mode.
2、door lock shorting detection :
Add high voltage input :07 door lock short circuit test ;low voltage:81 door lock short circuit test
logic of door lock short circuit detection :
1)keep former door lock short circuit unchanged ;
2) 3s after open door command and check door lock short circuit signal, it will show E53 and lift
can’t run.
3)Shorting door lock circuit contactor of advanced open door output valid and with 2s delay, check
door lock short circuit signal, it will show E53.

Site test and customer type test
UCMP test method

test condition :
Inspection switch valid and car stop at door area, keep door closed with door lock signal
closed.
Test operations :
1)Set F3-24=2 to open UCMP test function.
2)Cut off door lock signal (by door lock switch in cabinet .
3)Press ins up or down button, shorting door lock circuit contactor act and door lock short
connected, lift runs in ins control mode.
4)when the car out of door area, UCMP module will cut off door lock short connection, the lift
will show E65(UCMP error ) and stop.

Explanation :
1)F3-24=2 is useless if the lift does not satisfy test condition.
2)After setting F3-24=2, the parameter will be 0 when power off or run one time.
3)In the UCMP test mode, start acceleration rate is 0.8m/s2,acceleration start and end jerk
time are both 1.0s to make average of start acceleration rate is more the 0.5m/s2
