Suitable Input devices.
MOUSE.
A computer mouse is a pointing device (hand control) that detects two-dimensional motion
relative to a surface.
The mouse came into common use on a pc with the introduction of the Microsoft windows
operating system. There are many different types of mice, a commonly used model now has a
small wheel on it which when combined with the correct software allows additional
functionally and fine control over the use of applications.
Wireless mouse – wireless mouse means we can use that without a wire or cord.
Wired mouse
Optical mouse
Trackball mouse
Mechanical mouse / Ball mouse
KEYBOARD.
The keyboard is the commonest way of entering information in to a computer. There are
number of different types, including those specially designed for use with Microsoft
windows. The quality of the keyboard is often overlooked when buying a PC. It should be
robust and easy to use.
Types of keyboards – there are many types of keyboards there such as. QWERTY keyboard is
most popular keyboard. Most of the people using that. However, some people using Dvorak
keyboard also.
Qwerty keyboard
Dvorak keyboard
Azerty keyboard
Hcesar keyboard
Wired keyboard
I recommend wired keyboard because for the above scenario it will be perfect
because it deals with lot of important aspects.
SCANNER
A scanner allows you to scan printed material and convert it into file format that may be used
within the PC. In addition, you can scan the printed text and convert this not just to a picture
of the text but also to, actual text that can be manipulated and edited as text within your word
processor. There are a number of specialist programs, generally called OCR (Optical
character recognition) programs that are specifically designed for converting a printed text
into editable text within your applications.
Types of scanner,
Flatbed scanners
Sheet fed scanners
Handheld scanners
MICROPHONES
A microphone converts sound into an electric signal. It will analog to digital or scribes them
to a recording medium. Microphones modify many sorts of sound recording devices for
functions together with communications of the many types, further as music and speech
recording.
Types of microphones,
Shotgun microphones
Handheld microphones
Lapel microphones
WEB CAM.
Feeds its images in real time to a computer, common use as a camera for the world. Ever
since it was invented, the web has become increasingly interactive. You can use a small
digital movie camera mounted on a PC monitor to allow two way communication involving
not just text communication but sound and video communication as well.
Types of webcam,
Dedicated webcams
Integrated cameras
Camcorders

Output devices
MONITOR.
Monitor is an output device, which displays characters or graphics representing data in a
computer memory. It’s very important device in a computer, because without a monitor
computer cannot work.
There are many monitor types available now, such as,
PRINTER.
The printers were connected to the computers via a network. This means at each person with
a computer does not require his or her own printer. Each computer connected to the
can print using a particular shared printer. There are different printers available. Such as,
Laser printers – high print quality at high speed.
Inkjet printers – using tiny jets of spraying ink.
Dot matrix printer – firing a row of pins through an ink ribbon, lot of noise.
Platters – print large images.
I recommend Inkjet printer, it will print in better quality and can get colored
printouts.
SPEAKER.
Most computers are sold with the capability to add a pair of speakers to your system unit. In
fact, some cases, the monitor may have speakers built directly into the unit. This enhances the
value of educational and presentation products and can now be considered a standard PC
component.

PROJECTOR.
A projector could be a device that uses lightweight and lenses to require a picture and project
an enlarged image onto a bigger screen or wall. Projectors will amplify still or moving
pictures betting on however they are designed. The image should be shone through a sealed
tube or frame once passing through the lenses to take care of focus. By using projector, we
can see images, videos on large screens with computer system. Projector can use in lecture
halls, auditorium etc...
Projector types,
LCD projector
LED projector
DLP projector
Hardware components.
NETWORK CARD
Network card is used to connect your computer to another computer. It is available
commonly in PCI interface standard. Some are available in USB versions also.
SOUND CARD
The sound card is used to connect speakers to the computers; in most new motherboards, you
get sound cards as onboard device. Sound cards, which are available as separate interface
cards, are mostly in PCI slot compatible form and older ones were available for ISA slot
interface.
HARD DISK
Hard disk is nonvolatile device, which stored data permanently, and retrieves on a computer.
Hard disk is connecting to the motherboard by SATA or ATA cables.
SUITABLE SOFTWARE
SKYPE
It is a special software of connecting. Skype mainly helps to do video conference meetings.
It will help to the computer by protecting the computer from virus and threats. It will scan
and delete all viruses.

COMPUTER NETWORK
Network is a data communication system made up of hardware and software that transmits
data from one computer to another it will link through, cables, telephone lines, radio waves,
Bluetooth etc...
WAN Network
LAN NETWORK
It refers to LOCAL AREA NETWORK. It’s build in small area such as lab, school, office.
One computer is designed as the file server, which store the software that controls the server,
others connected to the file server are called workstations.
HUBs
A network hub could be a node that broadcasts information to each laptop or Ethernet-based
device connected thereto. A hub is a smaller amount subtle than a switch, the latter of which
might isolate information transmissions to specific devices
Switches
Switch is a device that channels incoming information from any of multiple input ports to the
precise output port that may take the info toward its meant destination. Switch is more
expensive than hub, because many more advantages there in switches more than hubs.
Bridges
Routers
Routers area small electronic devices that be part of multiple pc networks along via either
wired or wireless connections. It will help to use internet works possible. Routers are network
device that literally rout data around the network.
CSUs/DSUs
CSU it refers Channel service unit and DSU it refers Digital or data service Unit. A combine
of communications devices that connect associate degree in-house line to external digital
circuit. It like an electronic equipment however connects a digital circuit instead of analog
one.
Network Cards
A network interface card (NIC) may be a card or card that is put in during a pc so it may be
connected to a network. A network interface card provides the pc with a passionate, full-time
association to a network. Personal computers and workstations on space Local area network
(LAN) generally contain a network interface card specifically designed for the local area
network transmission technology
Client Computer
Client computer is a pc that connected to a server computer to access like files, videos,
documents, etc… shopper laptop connect with the server by network system, it's like they're
reprimand one another. Shopper may be a cypher, tablet, portable, etc…

A server computer is designed to method requests and deliver knowledge to alternative client
computers over an area network or the web. However, any pc running special software
package will perform as a server. Important advantage in server computer is server can
connect with several clients as a group while saving data.
Operating System
An Operating System (OS) is that the program that, once being a initio loaded into the pc by
a boot program, manages all the opposite programs in a very pc. The opposite programs are
known as applications or application programs. The applying programs build use of the OS
by creating requests for services through an outlined computer programmer interface.
There are two types of computer operating systems,
Server Operating system
Client Operating system
A server operating system is known as server OS. This is designed to run on servers, which
area unit specialized computers that operate among a client/server design to serve the
requests of client computers on the network. This server operating system helps to enable and
facilitate typical server roles such as Web server, mail server, file server, database server,
application server and print server.
Specifications
Server computers should have largest space for the storing purpose than others; therefore,
following specifications are appropriate for the server.
Speed: 100mbps
Client computers’ specification can be normal as common computers, because they do not
need to store any large documents in their computers.
