Respected Archana Ma'am,

I am writing to request your approval to participate in the upcoming practical

examinations for the Microbiology course, in spite of my failure to meet the
prescribed attendance requirement.

Unfortunately, my absence from class has primarily been due to family issues. I
acknowledge the importance of regular attendance and accept full responsibility
for my shortfall. I assure you that despite my attendance deficit, I have
diligently engaged with the course content, sought clarification on concepts, and
kept up with assignments and readings.

I am fully aware of the department's policies regarding attendance requirements

and acknowledge that exceptions are granted at the discretion of the department
head. I respectfully appeal to you in this matter and request your authorization
to sit for the practical exams. I will do my best to ensure that this situation does
not arise again in the future.
