1 EXT. PURN HOUSE - NIGHT *MONOCHROME* 1

We see PURN HOUSE, there is screaming coming from it.

CUT TO:

2 INT. KITCHEN - DAY 2

BOB enters the kitchen, he has a coat and a hat on. He throws
his keys on the table. He also puts down what looks like a
theatre ticket.

He then moves from the kitchen to the hallway.

CUT TO:

3 INT. HALLWAY - DAY 3

Bob enters the hallway, puts his jacket and hat on the stairs
then looks up the stairs

BOB
Hello! Hello! Anybody home!?

There is no response to Bob's question.

Bob then goes into another room.

CUT TO:

4 EXT. PURN HOUSE - NIGHT *MONOCHROME* 4

We can see Purn house outside, we can also see the sky going
darker which means it is night time.

CUT TO:

5 INT. DINNING ROOM - NIGHT 5

We see the dining room, music is playing from an old stereo,


lights are on in the back of the room and Bob sits down to
eat his food.

We can also see that there is another plate with knife and
folk set out for someone else.

As Bob is eating his food we hear banging coming from


upstairs. Bob at first tries to ignore it, however after a
few moments of him hearing it, he looks up.

He looks up and waits for a minute before the banging stops

and he goes back to eating.

CUT TO:

6 INT. KITCHEN - NIGHT 6

Bob enters the kitchen with his plate, he then starts to wash
it in the sink.

After doing that he leaves the room.

CUT TO:

7 INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT 7

Bob is now in his night ware, he gets into bed. He then lies
on his back and listens for a moment. However there is
nothing to be heard.

Bob turns his bedside lamp out.

CUT TO:

8 EXT. PURN HOUSE - DAY *MONOCHROME* 8

It is now daytime.

CUT TO:

9 EXT. PORCH - DAY *MONOCHROME* 9

Bob exits the house onto the porch, where he then opens the
door to the garage and turns on a radio.

CUT TO:

10 EXT. GARDEN - DAY *MONOCHROME* 10

We then see him start to do chores around the garden.

CUT TO:

11 EXT. DRIVEWAY - DAY *MONOCHROME* 11

Bob exits the house with something wrapped in a blanket. He


then moves off the drive and into the garden.

CUT TO:

12 EXT. GARDEN - DAY *MONOCHROME* 12

We see a garden pot shaped in the image of a head.

Bob approaches the head with the wrapped thing and puts it on
top of it.

Bob then leaves Garden back onto the driveway and into the
house.

We see the head bleeding from the eye.

CUT TO:

13 INT. LANDING - DAY 13

Bob leaves the bathroom and heads out onto the landing. He
was clearly cleaning himself up from earlier in the day when
he was gardening.

When Bob enters the landing, he starts staring at THE DOOR.

Bob moves closer to the door as if it might jump out and


attack him at any moment.

Bob gets to the door where he then knocks on it. All of a


sudden a person starts shouting from behind the door. Bob
backs away startled.

Bob doesn't know what to do so he leaves the landing.

CUT TO:

14 INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY 14

Bob enters the living room where someone is sat on a sofa.


Bob takes the armchair next to him.

As Bob enters he talks to the person

BOB
How are you then? Hey! How are you?

Bob is now sat comfortably in his arm chair. Bob then starts
speaking to the person again.

BOB
Charles! Charles!

Bob looks over to where the person was sat. There is no one
there.

Bob looks slightly depressed.

CUT TO:

15 INT. PURN HOUSE - NIGHT *MONOCHROME* 15

It has now become night time.

CUT TO:

16 INT. BATHROOM - NIGHT 16

Bob is at the sink shaving, while running a bath.

CUT TO:

17 INT. LANDING - NIGHT 17

Bob goes onto the landing where he walks up to THE DOOR again
slowly, he holds his arm out to open the door with the handle
, however stops himself once he touches the door handle.

He then walks off.

BOB
No! No!

FADE OUT:

18 INT. PURN HOUSE - DAY *MONOCHROME* 18

It is day time outside.

CUT TO:

19 INT. DINING ROOM - DAY 19

Bob is writing on his type writer, we can see that as he


takes off the page he has just written that he has written a
charity report.

He then gets a pen out and signs the piece of paper.

CUT TO:

20 INT. KITCHEN - DAY 20

Bob gets out a bunch of knifes from the kitchen side table
and puts them on the side.

Bob then lines up the knifes biggest to smallest, he then

picks them up and starts admiring them.

In the end he picks one out and leaves it on the side, he


puts all the other knives back into the draw.

He then leaves the kitchen.

CUT TO:

21 INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY 21

Bob sits in his arm chair while on the phone.

BOB
No that's no problem.

PHONE PERSON
Really are you sure!?

BOB
Yes of course that's what having money
is for.

PHONE PERSON
Well that is incredibly kind and
generous of you, you know how many
children you'll be helping with this.

BOB
I know, I know. That's what gets me up
in the morning.

They both laugh on the phone.

CUT TO:

22 INT. DINING ROOM - NIGHT 22

Bob is eating his food as he always does, there is another


plate set out next to him. There is also music playing on the
speaker.

He starts eating when the banging and noises start to be


heard from upstairs.

However this time they get louder and louder to the point
where the light flickers.

It gets harder and harder for Bob to ignore it.

He starts to put his head in his hands. Then gets up and runs

out the room.

CUT TO:

23 INT. STAIRS/HALLWAY - NIGHT 23

Bob runs up the stairs and to THE DOOR. He starts hitting THE
DOOR.

BOB
Shut up! Just Shut Up!

He continues to bang on the door, however nothing changes and


there are still sounds coming from the other side.

Bob then sits down against the door as the banging continues.
Bob puts his head in his hands.

CUT TO:

24 EXT. PURN HOUSE - DAY *MONOCHROME* 24

It is now day.

CUT TO:

25 EXT. PORCH - DAY *MONOCHROME* 25

Bob exits the house onto the porch, he then looks around
taking in the air.

We then hear bikes pass and some people start to shout at


Bob.

CYCLIST 1
Hi Bob!

CYCLIST 2
Hey there Bob!

CYCLIST 3
Hi Bob!

Bob waves back at them and we hear the bikes go off into the
distance, Bob then walks from the porch to the alleyway.

CUT TO:

26 EXT. DECKING *MONOCHROME* 26

Bob walks out onto the decking then into a shed that we don't

see into. He then re emerges with a bag, which he then


carries it back inside the house.

CUT TO:

27 EXT. PURN HOUSE - NIGHT *MONOCHROME* 27

It is now night.

CUT TO:

28 INT. KITCHEN - NIGHT 28

Bob enters the kitchen, he goes to the side of the kitchen


where he looks up at the ceiling.

He then puts on his mask and looks up at the ceiling again.

He then grabs the knife and storms out of the kitchen.

CUT TO:

29 INT. LANDING - NIGHT 29

Bob is stood there in ready to go in, you can hear him


breathing heavily.

He walks straight up to the door and then stops. Puts his


hands on the door and then, he bashes the door open.

We can see a bright light shining through there.

As he walks in we then hear screams.

CUT TO:

30 INT. BATHROOM - DAY 30

Bob comes into the bathroom to shave again.

We can see behind him that there is someone in the bath.

CUT TO:

31 EXT. DECKING *MONOCHROME* 31

We see Bob stood out looking across the landscape. The shot
goes from colour to black and white as he continues to look
out.
