Technical Remarks
• The calculation of the channels is according the elastic-elastic method according to DIN EN 1993-1-3: 2006 + AC:2009. The calculation of the connectors and pipe
clamps is based on a combination of different calculation models based on DIN EN 1993-1-3:2006 + AC:2009 and internal tests.

• The determination of the stresses and load combinations is based on DIN EN 1990:2002 + A1:2005 + A1:2005/AC:2010.

• Stability analysis like buckling or lateral-torsional buckling, as well as distortion is not covered by Install-Fix. If required, the analysis must be conducted by the
responsible engineer and hedged by structural measures. If necessary, the fischer technical support can be contacted.

• In places where user defined loads are acting, local stresses and deformations in the components are not considered. As the user defined loads do not indicate in
what way the load is applied into the system components it cannot be calculated by Install-Fix. In this case this must be taken into account by the engineer in charge

• The deflection of the channels is based on the observation of a single beam (length node to node, or bearing to bearing). The maximum allowable deflection can b
selected by the engineer in the program settings.

• Restrains and stresses of system effects (temperature-induced expansion of pipelines, etc.) are not covered by the analysis.

• The welding joints at, e.g. cantilever brackets are taken into account through internally audited system tests and will not be calculated separately.

• The calculation is based on the assumption that all actions are static or semi static. Effects of dynamics and seismic actions are not covered.

• All variable loads are take into account as unified, other load types in the load combinations with ψ2 = 0.8.

• Fire actions and fire resistance are not covered by the design in Install-Fix.

• Threaded rods have to verified separately at the moment.

The input values and the design results and the installation should be checked against local valid standards and approvals. Please respect
the disclaimer of warranty in the license Agreements of the Software.
