Praise always are due to Allah SWT . Because thanks to the abundance of His
mercy and grace , this paper can be completed properly and on time. Thanks to the Cross-
Cultural Understanding subjects that have given a good explanation in helping to resolve this
paper .

This paper is intended in addition to the fulfillment of the tasks subjects Cross-
Cultural Understanding, is also useful in providing an understanding and gain knowledge to
the reader about “Definitions of Culture and Intercultural Miscommunication” .

The author realized that this paper is far from perfect , therefore the author is
expecting criticism and constructive suggestions from readers .
