First part

 Nagshakehands si Anwar at Mr. Yaakob

(Ambulance sound)

First Scene

While in the room Anwar and Ismail ay problemado, bakas sa kanilang mukha ang lungkot at pag-aalala.

Ismail: What are we going to do now?

Anwar: I’ll try to talk to him

*Intense music

(Flashback)

*Naglalakad si Ismail, Anwar, at Nuriah

*Naglalakad si Mr. Yaakob (nakacorporate attire)

Mr. Yaakob: This is not a welfare office. The rent is need to be settled at the BEGINNING of every month.

Anwar: The problem is MSD hasn’t sent us the money yet.

Mr. Yaakob: Kampong boy! This is New York not Sungai Besar. You have four days to settle the payment!

(Anwar get up)

Anwar: Assalamualaikum (not in calm way)

*sinara niya ang pinto ng office ni Mr. Yaakob

Scene 2

Anwar and Ismail scraping the wall of a restaurant and after 2 days they painted the wall.

And then Mr. Yaakob came and said “this kind of work is quite lucrative”

Anwar: I think this money is enough

Ismail: I hope so

Scene 3

(Nasa clinic nagpacheck up kay Nuriah)

Anwar: Why don’t we look for new apartment? With a baby, because this place is not suitable

Ismail: I agree. But how about you? Why don’t you look for apartment near Cambodia University?

Anwar: Don’t worry about me I can find a room at College Resident Hostel on 110th street
(Ismail and Anwar tell Mr. Yaakob that they will move out at the end of the year. But one day there is an
unexpected call)

*Telephone rings

(Ismail pick up the telephone. He got sad and concious)

Ismail: The apartment on 115th street won’t be available until 1st of February. (sad tone)

Anwar: What?!

(Anwar go to the office of Mr. Yaakob)

Anwar: Looks like we have stay here for another month

Mr. Yaakob: You can’t do that! The three of you have to move out the 31st of December. You are no
Malay! A contract is a contract!

Anwar: We helped you with a lot of your jobs, Ismail and I. I can’t believe you cannot help us. (after
masabi ang line na iyun ay umalis agad si Anwar)

(Ismail try to call his friend Nordin, he lived at 73rd street)

Nordin: Yeah, it’s fine with me but I have only one room

Last scene

(Bumaba si Nuriah, Ismail, at Anwar sa sasakyan at pumasok pumasok sa apartment ni Nordin)

Transition

*The telephone is ringing. Anwar rush to get the telephone.

Anwar: Hello? What?! Okay. I’m on my way

*And he immediately leave the house.
