LM Ms Boys Meet Information
Welcome to Lake Mills and our middle school boys track meet. We will once
again be running separate 7th and 8th grade meets (2 class meet). We will be
using our FAT system and entering line-ups online. Please read the
following information to be sure you are prepared for our upcoming meet.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Needed: Online entries are due Tuesday, April 30, by 10:00 AM.
Log-on to https://ia.varsitybound.com/
Enter 7th grade and 8th grade roster and event entries.
Bound will seed the event based on your team entries.
Scratch meeting in the press box as soon as you arrive to make
changes.
Once the meet begins only scratches will be allowed, no
changes!
Bus Parking: We plan to park the busses along the south side of the
street, just north of the complex on 10th street.
Awards: Ribbons may be picked up in the press box, by a coach, after the
conclusion of
the meet. We are awarding ribbons for the top 4 places in relays
and top 6 in individual events.
Entry Fee: Please bring your $80 entry fee with you to the meet. Turn it in
to the press box
when you report to make any changes to your line-up.
Field Events: All events are final. Three attempts in the shot, discus, and
long jump.
Shot: 7th grade will throw 1st
Discus: 8th grade will throw 1st
High Jump: They will jump together. Starting height is 4’6”
Long Jump: 7th grade will jump 1st. We will begin 8th grade, if we
are waiting on
7th grade jumpers to finish.
Signing-In: Scratch meeting in the press box as soon as you arrive. You can
give your
changes to our meet technicians at that time.
Team Camps: All camps are to be located east of the track, in the
practice football field
area. Please keep your athletes outside of the infield
unless just prior to
running an event or just after running an event. Runners
should enter the
track areas on the south end of the track by the long jump
pit.
* We will furnish starting blocks. Please bring your own towels, batons,
shot, discus, etc.
* Only contestants and meet workers are allowed on the track or infield
area. Coaches are not to be in the infield area.
* Teams are asked to pick up their area after the meet is over. We will have
garbage bags available for your team. Coaches are asked to check their
team area before they leave.
