LENTEN JOURNAL

Day:1
Bible verse:
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to
him, and he will make your paths straight." - Proverbs 3:5-6
Thanksgiving Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you for this day and for all the blessings you have given
us. We thank you for the gift of life, for the food that sustains us, for the love that
surrounds us, and for the opportunities to grow closer to you. We pray that we may
always trust in you and lean on your understanding, seeking your will in all things. Amen.

Lenten Goals:
During this season of Lent, I have committed to slowly use less of social media and spend more time in prayer and reflection. It has been
a challenge, but I have found that I am more focused on my relationship with God and my family. I have also been able to use the time I
would have spent scrolling through social media to read the Bible and other spiritual books. It has been a blessing to have this extra time
to deepen my faith.
Prayer Intentions:
For all those who are suffering, that they may find comfort and healing in your love.
For all those who are struggling with addiction, that they may find the strength to seek help and find freedom.
For all those who are lonely, that they may find companionship and community.
For all those who are seeking your will in their lives, that they may have the courage to follow where you lead.

Day:2 Bible Verse:

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called
according to his purpose." - Romans 8:28
Thanksgiving Prayer:
Dear God, we thank you for this new day and for all the blessings you have given us.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness, for your patience and mercy, and for
your constant presence in our lives. We pray that we may trust in your goodness,
even in the midst of trials and difficulties. Amen.

Lenten Goals:
Today, I want to give back to my community and to show love to those who are often forgotten. I pray that I may continue to seek out
opportunities to serve others.
Prayer Intentions:
For all those who are in need, that they may find the resources and support they need to live with dignity.
For all those who are working to alleviate poverty and suffering, that they may be filled with your compassion and wisdom.
For all those who are grieving, that they may find comfort and hope in your love.
For all those who are facing difficult decisions, that they may have the wisdom and courage to follow your will.
Day:3
Bible verse:
"Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living
sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship." - Romans 12:1
Thanksgiving Prayer:
Dear God, we thank you for your mercy and love, and for the gift of your Son, Jesus
Christ. We thank you for the opportunity to offer ourselves as living sacrifices, to worship
you in spirit and truth. We pray that we may be filled with your Holy Spirit and that we
may be a light in the world, shining your love and grace to all those around us. Amen.

Lenten Goals:
Today, I spent time in prayer and reflection, asking God to show me how I can be a better servant in his kingdom. I am grateful for the
opportunity to deepen my relationship with him and to seek his will for my life. I pray that I may be open to his guidance and that I may
have the courage to follow where he leads.

Prayer Intentions:
For all those who are seeking to know you, that they may find the truth and the peace that comes from a relationship with you.
For all those who are struggling in their faith, that they may find the strength and courage to persevere.
For all those who are serving you in various ways, that they may be filled with your grace and wisdom.
For all those who are in positions of leadership, that they may be guided by your wisdom and that they may seek your will in all things.
