Lab # 08

OBJECT :

In this lab, you will perform basic router configuration tasks.You will
also learn how to configure Router on a Stick between different
Networks.

LAB TASK:

1. Attach the devices as shown in the topology diagram, and cable as necessary.

2. Configure basic settings for the router.

3. Configure basic settings for each switch.
4. Configure PC hosts.
5. Verify and Test Network Connectivity by doing Ping from PC-A to its default gateway.
Ping from PC-A to PC-B, Ping from PC-A to S2 .
EXERCISES:

(1) What happens if we connect PC directly to the router without using switch
in between the two devices i.e. PC’s and router?
