Subject: about hard negotiating style
Dear Huyen,
I hope you’re doing well. I wanted to share something interesting I’ve been exploring lately -
the hard negotiating style. This approach aims to secure maximum advantage for one party, often
by employing aggressive tactics and maintaining a firm bargaining position.
The objective of this style is typically to assert dominance and secure the best possible deal for
oneself, even if it means potentially exploiting the other party’s weakness.
Benefits include the opportunity to obtain advantageous conditions, maximize interests in the
short term, and increase negotiating power. However, drawbacks could involve negative effects
on relationships and not be usable in all situations.
People who negotiate in this way are usually confident and only care about what’s best for
themselves. They rarely make concessions and always ask for more favorable terms.
I find this type of negotiation quite interesting and I would like to discuss it further with you.
Best regards,
Quynh Vu
