English Language Projects 2024-25

CLASS IX
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
1. So you must make it with proper planning and with sufficient matter...
2. The Project has to be completed on A4 sheets without any plastic folder.
3. The Project needs to be well prepared in an artistic way.
4. It is mandatory to submit the file, on or before 20 June 2024.

THE PROJECT MUST INCLUDE:

3. The project must be neat and aesthetic. Add pictures and colour.

PROJECT 1
Determiners:
 What are the different types of determiners in English grammar?
 Write the examples of definite and indefinite determiners?
 How do determiners differ from adjectives in their usage?

Modals:
 Explain the usage of modals in expressing possibility and certainty.
 Compare and contrast the modal verbs "can," "could," and "may."
 Write the examples of how modals are used for making requests and giving advice.

Subject-Verb Agreement:
 What is subject-verb agreement, and why is it important in English grammar?
 Discuss the rules for subject-verb agreement in sentences with compound subjects.
 How does subject-verb agreement change in sentences with collective nouns?

PROJECT 2
Write the history of the English Language and depicts the entire period through the timeline.
 Invasions in Britain
 Famous writers of every period
 Major literary work
 Difference between British and American English.
 List down the words that are taken from Hindi Language.
