Dear Sarah,

Considering the recent community engagement internship opening, I am writing to express my

strong desire to fill that role. I was lucky enough to meet with you for coffee to discuss some
roles within the company that would be a good fit for me. I followed your advice and kept an eye
out for these internships.

During my time at Butler, I have had the opportunity to take classes that have prepared me for
this potential role. Specifically, I took a class called Sports Promotion with Professor Bob
Schultz who has immense amounts of knowledge within this field. Through the class, I had the
pleasure of meeting you, in addition to various other guest speakers from the Indiana Fever,
Indianapolis Colts, Arrow McLaren, Butler Athletics, and NCAA. I gained the necessary
knowledge for a role in community engagement through all of these experiences.

Lastly, I would like to express my gratitude for reviewing my resumé and allowing me the
opportunity to potentially work at Indiana Sports Corp. I truly feel that I would be a great asset
not only to your team, but to the city of Indianapolis.
