BGTC Sporting Regulations
British GT Championship,
Season 1
1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 These regulations shall be known as the Sporting Regulations of the British GT Championship.
1.2 The British GT Championship aims to provide a competitive and fair platform for GT racing,
emphasizing sportsmanship and showcasing high-performance vehicles.
2. ORGANIZATION
2.1 Promoter: The British GT Championship is promoted by the Duke of Kent responsible for the
overall organization and promotion. While league management conducted Director Poly_TP3.
2.2 Competitors: Competitors must comply with these Sporting Regulations, the Technical
Regulations, and any other instructions issued by the organizers.
3. EVENTS
3.1.1 The championship will consist of a series of race weekends, each comprising one practice session,
qualifying, and a race.
3.1.3 Day 2 - Race Day: The second day will host the main race of the weekend.
3.2 Points System: Points will be awarded to competitors based on finishing positions, as outlined in
the Points System appendix. Only the top 6 drivers will receive points. The two drivers combined points
will be the constructor’s total.
3.3 Trophies: Trophies and awards will be presented to the top-performing competitors as defined in
the trophy allocation appendix (To be released later.)
4.1 Eligible Vehicles: Only GT cars in the provided list of manufacturers are eligible to participate in
the British GT Championship.
4.2 Driver Eligibility: Drivers must be registered with a team and be a member of Brado’s United
Kingdom to be eligible to race in the championship.
4.3 Entries: Entries must be submitted by the specified deadlines, including all required documentation
and entry fees.
5. TECHNICAL REGULATIONS
5.1 Technical Scrutineering: Vehicles will undergo technical scrutineering to ensure compliance with
the Technical Regulations before and after each event.
6. SPORTING CONDUCT
6.1 Code of Conduct: Competitors and team members must adhere to a high standard of sportsmanship
and fair play throughout the championship.
6.2 Driving Standards: Reckless or dangerous driving will not be tolerated. The Race Director may
impose penalties for violations.
6.3 Illegal Practice: Any practice or testing outside the designated practice session is considered illegal
practice and may result in penalties, as outlined in the Penalties and Protests section. The test track in
use until the start of the season is exempt from this.
7.1 Penalties: Penalties may be applied for technical infringements, driving offenses, or other breaches
of these Sporting Regulations. The penalty given is at the discretion of the Race Director.
7.2 Protests: Procedures for lodging and handling protests are outlined in the communications forum
where each team and driver have the right to protest a decision or to make claims with the league
officials.
8. CHAMPIONSHIP OFFICIALS
8.1 Race Director: The Race Director has authority over all sporting matters during an event,
including the imposition of penalties.
8.2 Stewards: Stewards will be appointed to review protests and impose penalties as necessary.
9.1 Amendments: These Sporting Regulations may be amended by league officials with mandatory
notice to competitors.
9.2 Interpretation: The interpretation of these regulations is at the discretion of the Race Director and
Stewards.
