Levain releases a cookie featuring dark chocolate cookie batter with red and white chunks of
NEW YORK CITY, NY (Nov. 11, 2024) - Levain Bakery announces the launch of a new, festive
holiday cookie. For the first time ever, customers can try a cookie made up of Levain's signature
thick dark chocolate batter decked out with red and white striped chunks of peppermint
throughout. The cookie will be available in stores and online starting Nov. 15 lasting the entire
month and until Dec. 31, allowing everyone across the nation the opportunity to purchase the
ooey-gooey cookie.
With the holidays right around the corner, launching a limited edition holiday cookie is the only
proper way for the New York icon to celebrate this time of the year. Pam Weekes, co-founder of
Levain Bakery, says “Levain’s holiday cookie is a delicious and warm treat to share with a friend
or loved one during this magical time.” Levain is also dedicated to giving back to the community,
especially during the winter, doing so by donating all leftover cookies of the day to shelters and
Along with the new holiday cookie, Levain will also be selling a new collectable cookie tin.
Levain’s signature tin will take on a festive look with a new design made specially for the
holidays. The tin will contain eight of the limited edition Dark Chocolate Peppermint holiday
cookies. They will be sold for $20 plus the price of the cookies.
Every staple cookie will still be available on Levain’s website with the limited edition holiday
cookie added as an addition. All other pastries are available in store. Bundles and tins of
cookies can be purchased, pre-arranged and self-arranged ones are available online and in-
store.

Co-founded by Pam Weekes and Connie McDonald, the two best friends opened the original
Levain Bakery on West 74th in New York City’s Upper West Side. What started out as baking
cookies to energize their triathlon training, now provides customers all over the nation with
delicious treats. Growing in popularity for the last 30 years, there are now 13 locations across
the United States including New York City, Washington D.C., and Los Angeles, with a 14th on
the way.
The bakery also has an online store in order to let people from all over the United States buy
their ooey-gooey cookies. Exclusively in stores, there are other pastries available to customers
