Journal #15

Throughout this week at my internship, I continued to enjoy the time I have left being

able to essentially work there and learn things I did not know before starting this experience. I

was able to sit in on a few more evaluations through the week and still continued to work with

patients I had been working with since the beginning. I could not imagine wanting to intern

anywhere else and I would suggest this site to any upcoming interns. I also had a talk with my

site supervisor, we have grown a close bond and I think of him and all of the other staff as a

second family, he has offered me a job and since I do not stay in Milledgeville throughout the

summer, he has extended the offer to me into the next school year in which I will be attending

grad school. This makes all the time and effort and long days I have spent there so much more

worth it. Knowing that I have had such a large impact on not only the patients I interact with, but

also the staff makes me feel as though I would excel in any professional workplace. Also, while

our logs are due on the 129th, I will still be continuing to go to my internship throughout the

week of the 3rd in order to complete my hours, if needed I will log that week separately as well,

but it will already be updated on my log sheet that I will turn in on the 29th. I also know I did not

submit a journal entry last week but my hours were the exact same as this week!
