Overview:

One of our main responsibilities is to produce and research conferences held in the US for our
senior executives to attend.

This is one of the strategies we do to acquire clients

During the conferences, our executives, including the CEO, will try to make connections with
fellow delegates.

Our job is to make sure that our executives will have everything they need prior to the event to
ensure efficiency

1. Conference Research:
a. Make a list of all the conferences that will be held in the US, along with all the
necessary details.
b. Use these keywords as criteria for the research
c. Our main niche are the following:
i. Travel & Hospitality
ii. Retail
iii. Media & Entertainment
iv. Kids & Family Media
v. Financial Services
vi. Telecommunications
vii. Transformation/Innovation/Strategy
viii. Customer/User Insight & Research
ix. User Experience
d. Please follow the format and the instructions on the sheet

2. Data Scraping
a. Make a list of profiles that are attending a certain conference
b. We use lists like this to establish which people our executives would like to have
a meeting with during the event
c. On the list, we need to find each person’s email address and necessary details
as email is our primary form of communication
i. You may use any tools you’re comfortable with, but we utilize Apollo’s
chrome extension as it has seamless integration with LinkedIn.
d. The people we generate will be considered leads and for that reason, we will be
qualifying them using our own criteria. For general knowledge, here’s what we’re
looking for
i. Company profile must have a minimum of $500M annual revenue
ii. Their job level must be CXO and SVPs
1. We can also qualify VPs, Sr. Directors and Directors on some
cases
iii. Their personal niche must be along the lines of those mentioned above
on section “c” on point 1.
iv. The Company Industries must be one of the following. Retail,
Manufacturing, Financial Services, Transportation, Travel, Hospitality, and

3. Email Outreach
a. There will be multiple cases that we need to reach out to conference organizers
to get what we need
b. On this exercise, please compose a series of email messages for each given
scenario on the word document.
