AT TIMES WHEN WE ARE BUILDING AN ARGUMENT WE DO THIS:

[POINT OF ARGUMENT]Historical evidence show that in the Vietnam War

America tried to contain communism but ultimately failed to do so. American’s
actions have been known as the Domino Theory. [COMPARISON
EXAMPLES]For example, during the War America used a war strategy called
Rolling thunder. [EXPLAIN EXAMPLE 1]This was a bombing campaign by the
U.S. Air Force and Navy aircraft that began on 24 February 1965 and lasted until
the end of October 1968. On the other hand communist North Vietnam used
the strategy of the Tunnel system. [EXPLAIN EXAMPLE 2]The tunnels were
used by Viet Cong and North Vietnam soldiers as hiding spots during combat, as
well as serving as communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon
caches and living quarters for numerous North Vietnamese fighters. [LINK BY
GIVING REASONS TO MAKE YOUR POINT OF ARGUMENT MORE
SENSIBLE] Therefore, in this case America failed to contain the formation of a
communist regime in North Vietnam BECAUSE her strategy of rolling thunder
could not overpower the strategy of Tunnel system. Whereas the US Air Force

and Navy aircraft bombed large parts of North Vietnamese forests, the North
Vietnam communist soldiers were hiding in the Tunnels. As a result the strength
of communist soldiers was not destroyed or affected. On the other hand America
wasted many bombs destroying the jungle instead of the enemy. That’s why at the
end USA failed as communists soldiers did not die. They continued fighting and
defending communism.
