Respected sir,

We are writing this letter to bring to your kind attention a matter of concern regarding the funeral
place established in Raidurgam. For many years, this funeral place has been utilized by the local
residents of Raidurgam for conducting funeral services. However, recently, we have observed a
significant change in the management of this facility. Under the Maha Prastanam scheme, the
funeral place in Raidurgam has been allotted to a private party. While we appreciate efforts to
enhance the management and utilization of public resources, we are deeply troubled by the recent
developments regarding the access to this facility.

The private party, to whom the funeral place has been allotted, has introduced a new process
whereby they are asking local residents of Raidurgam to book slots in advance for funeral services.
This new requirement of slot booking poses several concerns.

It is unfair to impose such a process on the local residents who have been using this facility for
years exclusively without any prior reservation system. It is the right of the Raidurgam residents to
use and continue to use the funerals place without any infringement and difficulty.
Secondly, the introduction of slot booking for cost or particular time restrictions implies unjust
condition. It is Unfair on people of Raidurgam to incur additional costs for utilizing a facility that
has historically been accessible to them free of charge.

Therefore, we respectfully request your intervention in this matter as it requires to take immediate
steps to ensure equitable access to the funeral place in Raidurgam for the local residents.
Specifically, I urge the following actions:

1. Allocate a separate space within the funeral place for the people of Raidurgam
without requiring any prior slot booking.
2. Ensure that the utilization of this space remains free of cost for the residents of
Raidurgam.
3. Ensure that appropriate action is taken to rectify the situation taking into account the
needs and preferences of the local community.

I hope that you will give due consideration to this matter and take necessary measures to address
the concerns raised. Your prompt action in resolving this issue will be greatly appreciated by the
residents of Raidurgam.
