Teaching Philosophy

As a prospective teacher, I think that each child's education should be tailored to meet

their specific needs. Education needs to be enjoyable and delivered in a way that all students can

understand. All students, regardless of disability, have the right to a supportive learning

environment where they can work on whatever tasks they need help with.

My goal is to become a teacher so that I can support kids' education and have a positive

impact on the dynamic and ever-evolving educational environment. I want to be a teacher so

that I can be a "voice" for kids and their education is what I want to do. I believe there's always

room for improvement in the educational system, and I want to help bring that change so that we

can keep refining the methods we mold and ready kids for success in the classroom. Even though

teaching is a difficult and underappreciated profession, I think it is satisfying to see students'

learning progress and mature. As an educator, you get to introduce and teach new ideas and

skills, and then watch your students master those new skills, which would be the most rewarding

part for me.

For as long as I can remember I wanted to be a teacher. After high school, I worked in an

afterschool program with children ages five to ten. I adored the children I had over the years.

After being an afterschool teacher and building relationships, helping with homework, and going

on field trips, I decided that I wanted to go back to school and turn my passion into a career. I

also wanted to further my education, learning more about the development of children and

different ways of helping children grow to their full potential.

One of the greatest contributions to our communities is the work that educators do. As

they mold the brains of future community members, it truly inspires me to become a teacher. I

want to affect the world we live in and teach the youth how to be successful, responsible, and

contributing members of our society. Shaping the next generation is so important for our society,

implementing good morals and ethics into young minds so they can go out in the world and do

good things. Instructors do so much more than just teach English and math. In addition to

encouraging independence, educators also support the development of social and life skills.

Along with learning to read and write, my five-year-old child learned how to zip up her coat, tie

her shoes, and be an invaluable member of her classroom through "class jobs" when she started

kindergarten. Teachers shape children's minds to become successful adults who positively impact

our society.

I think that instructors need to be patient and adaptable when they enter the teaching

profession. There will be unforeseen circumstances, so I believe that teachers must have

flexibility and fast thinking skills. It's also critical to use patience since educating kids can be

challenging at times, particularly given their diverse learning styles. I think the most resourceful

teachers are those who can work quickly. Another essential component of a well-functioning

classroom is the realization that things can change.

Effective educators take the time to get to know their students' needs, skills, and preferred

methods of learning. An effective educator is flexible, open to trying new things, and capable of

using both new and old ideas for the benefit of their students. They can identify and meet the

different needs of their students. Scaffolding is one of the teaching tactics I'll use in my

classroom. Scaffolding, in my opinion, is crucial for assisting students in efficiently learning the

topic.

When it comes to student learning, diversity, variability, and assessment, I support a

flexible and inclusive approach that appreciates the individual needs and strengths of every

learner. I will acknowledge that all children will learn uniquely and that their preferences, skills,

and learning styles will vary. To make sure I am fulfilling all of my students' needs, I will

implement differentiation instruction strategies. I aim to establish a secure and culturally

sensitive learning environment for my students, considering their many backgrounds and

cultures. To find out what information my students are retaining, I will use formative evaluations

including conversations, quizzes, and observations. This will help me to assess their level of

understanding overall, as well as what I need to add or clarify.

I think that being adaptable is something I need to concentrate on as a future teacher. As

I've mentioned before, I believe that having flexibility is a crucial ability teachers should have to

have a well-functioning classroom. I'm the kind of person who plans my entire day down to the

hour, which I believe will be beneficial in the classroom because I follow a set daily routine. I

think it is critical to understand that a variety of circumstances can change plans and that my

ability to multitask and be resourceful will make me a more successful teacher. To gain further

experience I would volunteer and local to gain more experience working with both students and

teachers. I will also begin substitute teaching once I qualify for a substitute teacher license. I

also plan to attend relevant professional development classes that are offered that may help me in

reaching my goal of becoming a teacher. Volunteering, substituting, and taking continuing

education will help prepare me for becoming a teacher giving me more experience and

education.

In the constantly evolving and expanding educational system, there is always room for

improvement, but my goal is that I can be a successful and effective teacher. The school system

gets better the more knowledgeable and committed the teachers are. In the educational system,

teachers are essential. Teachers are the "voice" of students and their educational requirements,

and this is where a new system begins.
