INDUSTRIAL CITY OPERATIONS (MIC)

Primary purpose of job

Reporting to the Asst. Manager-Maintenance, the Planning Engineer shall be responsible to direct and supervise the SAP
based management of Maintenance Planning, Material Management and to coordinate with other Sections to ensure that
all MIC (Mesaieed Industrial City) facilities are properly supported by necessary resources, plans, materials and budgets to
ensure safe, reliable and cost-effective operations of the MIC Facilities including Port, Waste Treatment Plants, Civil &
Electrical Infrastructure.

Experience & Skills

• 10-15 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry including practical experience in maintenance planning and
scheduling, work control, contracting and budgetary & cost control procedures.
• Excellent written and spoken English, strong negotiation, facilitation, influencing and communication skills. Knowledge of
Arabic will be an advantage.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications, specialized planning software such as MS Project, Asset
Performance Monitoring, SAP (Plant Maintenance, Material Management, Production Planning) and other related software.
• In-depth knowledge of planning tools, techniques and philosophy.
• Strong organizational, project management, presentation and time management skills.
• Strong understanding of maintenance principle and terminology.

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Maintenance Engineering or equivalent from an internationally recognized university, preferably with
professional membership in a recognized engineering society / institute.
