Northeast RPDC Information

Sign up currently happening for 2024-2025 school year for LETRS Volume 1 and Volume 2 and the sign
up links can be found at: DESE's Literacy Initiatives & Efforts | Missouri Department of Elementary and
Secondary Education (mo.gov)

All K-5 educators are invited to sign up for LETRS Volumes I and II. Please use the following link to
pre-register for the 2024-25 school year: Read, Lead, Exceed LETRS Volumes I and II. The
deadline for Summer 2024 cohorts is March 15, 2024.
All Pre-K public school educators are invited to sign up for Early Childhood LETRS. Please use the
following link to pre-register for the 2024-25 school year: Read, Lead, Exceed Early Childhood
LETRS. The deadline for Summer 2024 cohorts is March 15, 2024.
Once pre-registration is complete, the district’s local Regional Professional Development Center will
contact you to schedule your training dates.
For questions about LETRS® training availability, contact your local RPDC or the Office of Literacy
at literacy@dese.mo.gov.
Regional Teacher of the Year Nomination period is open through April 14. Teacher of the Year

STEM Resources--presented by Learning Blade [STEM/CS/CTE Career Awareness Resources] on
May 20. For any 5th through 9th grade teachers and they will receive a $150 stipend for attending.

Entrepreneurship 101-NEMO Pathways for Teacher Externship - In-Person – May 29 - 30 – teachers


will receive a $435 stipend for completing the full 15 hours.

Teaching the Principles of Civics and Patriotism Workshop - Elementary on May 31 in the morning.
Teachers will receive a $150 stipend for attending.

Teaching the Principles of Civics and Patriotism Workshop - Middle School & High School on May
31 in the afternoon. Teachers will receive a $15i0 stipend for attending.

For the first 25 districts that have teachers participating in either the morning or afternoon
session of the Civics workshop the district will receive a $1,000 payment.
