CHEMSOL 3391 - DISINFECTANT

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Chemsol 3391 is a combination of highly active biocides for the control of a wide range
of bacteria, fungi and algae in industrial re-circulatory water systems. The product
provides a wide spectrum of control. Microorganisms cannot develop immunity towards
the product due to its specific mode of action. It is extremely effective in controlling
harmful bacteria like sulphate reducers, nitrifying bacteria and other slime formers.

APPLICATION AND The product is to be dosed neat in the cooling tower sump at a point where thorough
DOSAGE mixing is ensured. While dosing the product care should be taken to shut the blow down
and ensure a minimum contact time of about 8-12 hrs. For best result, it is advisable to
give blow down after this contact time to remove dead biomass from the system.
Effective dosage varies with system demand. Badly fouled systems will need higher
dosage or precleaning. Generally a dose level of 30 to 100 ppm is sufficient. Our
representative will help you in electing the right dosage and frequency of application.
The product is not recommended for use in potable water system.

HANDLING  Chemsol 3391 may cause skin and eye irritation. It is harmful if taken internally.
 In case of contact, flush the affected area with plenty of water.
 In case of prolonged contact, flush with plenty of water and get prompt medical
attention.
 In case of ingestion, induce vomiting by administering warm salt water or any other
emetic and get medical attention.
 Contaminated clothing should be thoroughly washed before reuse.
 Use of protective rubber gloves is recommended while handling Chemsol 3391.

ENVIRONMENT SAFETY Chemsol 3391 can be directly fed from the container into the basin of the cooling water
system or at any other point where good mixing can be ensured. No special feeding
equipment is required.

PACKING Chemsol 3391 is available in 25 / 200 kg HDPE carboys / 1000 kg HDPE barrels.
