We are in receipt of letter reference no. (1) 90030/CA-CTK-01/22-23/B-
M/63/EPC & (2) MKCIL/BM-Road/BRO/2022-23/282, regarding proposal
of boundary wall, we have reviewed the proposal and our comments are as
below:

1. Now days it is common practice in NHAI Greenfield Projects involves the

installation of boundary walls within the Right of Way (ROW).

2. Safety: Boundary walls serve as robust barriers, significantly reducing the

risk of accidents by preventing unauthorized access to the highway. This
ensures the safety of both motorists and pedestrians, promoting secure
passage along the roadway. It prevents animal and other unauthorized
vehicles entry in main carriageway.

3. Aesthetic Enhancement: well-designed boundary walls can contribute to

the overall aesthetic appeal of the project surroundings, by integrating
landscaping elements into the wall design, visually pleasing boundaries can
be create that complement the surrounding environment and enhance the
overall project aesthetics.

4. Optimization Land Use and preventing encroachment: Boundary walls
provides the boundaries of the highway ROW, optimizing land use and
preventing encroachments onto the designated right-of-way. This ensures
that the highway corridor remains unobstructed and allows for efficient
maintenance and expansion of the transportation network as needed in the
future.
By providing the Boundary walls into ROW aligns to prioritizing safety,
security in all aspects of the project.
