READING COMPREHENSION / COMPRENSIÓN LECTORA (2 points)

My favorite city is London. It is the biggest city in Britain. It is in the South –East of England. It has a
population of 7,2 million inhabitants. It is cold in winter and not very hot in summer. It is often
rainy and cloudy from September to June.
The British government is in London .The city has lots of important buildings which are good to
visit. Tourists go to see the Tower Bridge, Big Ben, The Globe, the House of Parliament, Buckingham
Palace, and London Bridge. There are over 100 theatres. London has a very good transport system
with the oldest underground, trains and black cabs (taxis).
Life is very exciting; there are many things to do, and there are many tourists which visit The Eye of
London to have a beautiful view of the city. It is a wonderful place for young people. There are also
some parks such as Kensington Gardens, Green Park and Regent’s Park. The most famous one is
Hyde Park.
