3. Web caching concepts, DNS Complete, Email Complete.
4. TCP/UDP Sockets program.

UNIT-3
1. Rdt protocols (all versions) with FSM diagrams.
2. TCP,UDP(Services, Distinction )and most importantly segment structure.
3. Congestion control types with TCP connection, congestion control
algorithms.
4. Go-back-N and Selective repeat with example diagrams.

UNIT-4
1. Virtual circuit and Datagram network, routing and forwarding concepts.
2. Details about inside a router.
3. All routing algorithms with examples.
4. IPv4, IPv6, DHCP (Datagram Structure, Distinction and Services).

UNIT-5
1. Ethernet Frame format, MAC protocols, ARP and VLan.
2. 802.11 Wireless LAN architecture concepts (CSMA/CA etc.).
3. Mobile IP in detail (routing etc.)(Most important).
