2. Objective
To provide report about Fault of fan bearings of cooler fan 3713-05. Vibration spectrums
and time wave are reported.

3. Introduction
This cooler fan provided the cooler with air to complete configuration of clinker in cooler.

The Overview of Equipment

The vibration readings collected by SKF Microlog Gx-75 for this equipment since 2018 and
with diagnosis the clear defect in outer race was observed as shown Below.

5.2 Vibration Spectrums

CBM section collecting data from this equipment since 2018 by skf analyzer with accelerometer has
sensitivity 100 mV/g.
The path transmission of vibration from source to location of data collecting is accessible and near the
bearings for both them.

The impacts in current reading with 36g Pk-Pk.

6. Recommendation

From above spectrums and timewaves of fan bearings and appeared Defect
Bearing Frequency with his harmonics in velocity spectrum and high amplitude of
timewave in acceleration. Where this is very critical equipment to run kiln with
175 TPH capacity. And the defect indicated to found flaw in outer race in DE Fan
Bearing. We recommended to Replace him in this shutdown.
