When are intracompany rules defined for legal entities?

Intracompany rules would be defined for a legal entity when there are balancing
segment values assigned to the legal entity and that legal entity is assigned to a ledger.
Intracompany rules have to be defined for a legal entity if transactions need to be done
between the balancing segment values assigned to the legal entity.

AGIS Setup:

General Ledger (GL) Setups
Receivables (AR) and Payables (AP) Setups
Advanced Global Intercompany (AGIS) Setups

Transaction Processing:

Transactions between different Legal Entities attached to same or different Ledgers are
done using AGIS.

Transaction Processing Steps are:

Initiate an Intercompany Transaction in AGIS


Complete Distributions from the Initiator Subsidiary
Complete Accounting and Approve the transaction from the Recipient side
Process the invoices from Receivables and Payables side (if invoicing is used)
Transfer of transactions to General Ledger (GL)
