I. DESCRIPTION

Peruvian Tara Powder is a natural source of tannins, obtained from the grinding of the Tara pod.

II. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Nature: Peruvian Tara (Caesalpinia spinosa)


Nature appearance: Light Beige
Natural odor: Characteristic
Natural taste: Astringent
Granulometry: Passing through mesh 80
Tannin content: ≥ 55%.
pH: 3 – 4
Humidity: < 13%

III. APPLICATION AREA

Tannery Industry: Tara provides a tannin that is oxidation-stable, aiding in photoresistance.


Wine and Beer Industry: Tannins are used as wine clarifiers, natural antioxidants, and
stabilizers that enhance, boost, and maintain the properties of wines and beers.
Dye Industry: Tannins are used as mordants for fixing different dyes.
Plastics, Adhesives, and Paints Industry: Condensed tannins are used in the manufacturing of
adhesives and resins.

Laminated polypropylene bag of 25 kg.

V. STORAGE CONDITIONS

Cool, dry and ventilated place, away from light and odors. Keep the product tightly closed.
