JOINTS AND SPLICES

In the workshop of life, where wires entwine,
Joints and splices come together, align.
They weave connections, unseen and strong,
A dance of union, where they belong.
The soldered joint, a fusion of heat,
Two souls entwined, their destinies meet.
Their copper hearts beat in harmony,
A symphony of current, flowing free.
Valuing 20 mins And then there's the splice, a clever twist,
Where strands embrace, their secrets kissed.
They intertwine, like lovers in the night,
Creating bonds that withstand the fight.
The wire nut, a marriage of threads,
Tightened by hands, where love embeds.
It holds them close, a steadfast grip,
A promise made, no matter how they trip.
So here's to joints and splices, dear,
In circuits and hearts, they persevere.
They teach us that connections matter most,
In life's grand tapestry, they weave and boast.

ELECTRONVILLE

Once upon a time in the bustling city of Electronville,
where wires hummed with electricity and circuits pulsed
with life, there lived two unlikely friends: Joints and
Splices.

Joints was a seasoned wire connector, always bridging

the gap between conductors. With a twist here and a
wrap there, Joints ensured that the flow of electrons
remained uninterrupted. His motto was simple: “Unity is
strength.”

Splices, on the other hand, was a bit of a rebel. He loved

breaking things apart and putting them back together.
His specialty was extending wires, making them reach
new heights. Splices believed in adaptability and growth.

One sunny day, Joints and Splices found themselves at

the bustling Circuit Square, where wires crisscrossed
like busy streets. They watched as electricians worked
diligently, creating intricate networks of connections.

“Look at them,” Joints said, pointing to a group of wires

converging at a junction box. “They’re like a family, each
wire supporting the other.”

Splices raised an eyebrow. “But what if they need to go

farther? What if they want to explore beyond their
limits?”

Joints shook his head. “Safety first, my friend. We must

ensure stability and reliability.”

Splices grinned mischievously. “What if we combine our

talents? Create something that’s both strong and
adaptable?”

And so, Joints and Splices embarked on a joint venture

(pun intended). They experimented with twists, wraps,
and knots. They invented the Zigzag Splice, which
allowed wires to stretch without breaking. They crafted
the Loop Joint, a secure connection that could
withstand tension.

Word spread across Electronville about their innovative

creations. Electricians marveled at the flexibility of the
Zigzag Splice and the resilience of the Loop Joint. Joints
and Splices became local heroes, their names whispered
in awe.

But their biggest challenge lay ahead: the Great Power

Surge. A thunderstorm was brewing, threatening to
overload the entire city grid. Wires trembled,
transformers buzzed, and fuses quivered.

Joints and Splices knew they had to act fast. They

climbed the tallest transmission tower, their hearts
racing. Together, they wove a web of connections,
combining their techniques. The Zigzag Loop Splice was

born—a fusion of strength and adaptability.

As lightning struck, the Zigzag Loop Splice held firm.

Wires danced, but none snapped. The city remained
powered, its heartbeat steady.

The mayor awarded Joints and Splices medals of honor.

They stood side by side, their differences forgotten.
Joints learned to embrace change, and Splices
appreciated stability.

And so, in the heart of Electronville, a monument was

erected—a wire sculpture of Joints and Splices, forever
entwined. Visitors marveled at their legacy, a testament
to the power of collaboration.

And whenever a new circuit needed extending or

repairing, electricians would say, “Remember the tale of
Joints and Splices. Balance strength with flexibility, and
you’ll light up the world.”

And so, dear reader, the next time you flip a switch or
charge your phone, think of Joints and Splices—the
unsung heroes of Electronville, who taught us that
sometimes, opposites truly attract.

Reflection: Make a acrostic poem about Splices and

Joints.
