Adding -ly

We often make an adverb by adding -ly to an adjective, for

example: quick, quickly

Spelling Rule
Just add -ly to the end of the adjective:

 coy, coyly

 loud, loudly

 beautiful, beautifully

 senseless, senselessly

 intelligent, intelligently

Exceptions
(note: C=consonant)
