Where do we go from here?
All I did was open this page to start writing to you and I’m already squishing back the tears to see my
keyboard. From our very first orientation day, when we were just getting to know each other, I knew
this was going to be something special. I thought, “This is it. This is what it’s supposed to be like--to
be in a ‘room’ full of women who get it.”

I am absolutely inspired by each one of you--your hearts, your spunk, your tenacity. And I am
especially inspired by the way you have dug deep into this work. You’ve been willing to do the work
that can be a little uncomfortable, and sometimes not-so-glamourous, that so many business
owners neglect. You didn’t skip the hard parts. And even if you’re reading this thinking, “I still don’t
have it all figured out.” that’s OKAY. This work takes time. Sometimes it takes space. And sometimes
it takes a really great shower. Keep moving forward. I know one day soon, it will all come together and
you’ll feel that sense of depth and groundedness (I think I just made up that word) in your work.

As I designed SOFT Business School, one of the most important parts to me was that I didn’t leave
you hanging. I didn’t want you to wrap up our time together feeling like you had no idea where to go
from here. That is the work we tackle today. We’ll take some time to assess where you are, what your
business needs, what YOU need, and the steps you need to take for whatever is rising to the top of
your list.

And again, THANK YOU. Thank you for being here. Thank you for believing in the SOFT Business
movement. And thank you for building a business that matters and will impact so many people. I am
so grateful for each one of you. And I can’t wait to see where we go from here. xo.

What work from above are you most proud of?

What work from above is most important to you to finish next?

4
What does a SOFT life and a SOFT business look like to you? Write down any words or
specific ideas that come to mind.

soft

5
What do you want to accomplish in your business? You can be specific, or you can write down big, dreamy,
someday goals. Think about things you want to create, sell or make, how you want to spend your days, what
success and freedom look like to you...write down anything that comes to mind. Do not let your answers be
censored by your fears.

What does your business need right now? (money, time, organization, growth, clients, change, rest etc)

6
What are the weeds in your business, in your life, in your thoughts right now? What is holding you back from
accomplishing what you want?

Look at the things you wrote down in both boxes on page 6. Circle the three that feel the most important to
you right now, and write them below.

7
I like to plan my year in quarters. We are about to begin Q2. Do any of the things on your list of three feel
doable in Q2? Write it below.

What steps will you need to take to accomplish this? Be specific as possible.

9
Just like we often choose a word of the year, I also like to do this when I plan my quarters. My word for 2024 is
less, but my word for this quarter has been BIG. If you gave Q2 a word, what would it be?

Q2's WORD:

Write down the three next steps for your

business as simply and clearly as possible.

10
Take a moment to reflect. Where do you
want to see yourself in one year’s time?

Notes, Thoughts
“And the world cannot be discovered by a journey of miles, no matter how long,
but only by a spiritual journey, a journey of one inch,
very arduous and humbling and joyful,
by which we arrive at the ground at our own feet,
and learn to be at home.”
