(FAQ) – Health Checks


What is a Health Check-up Program?
Annual Health Check-up is a Preventive Health Checkup-Program in which corporate employees’ can book a
comprehensive Health check for themselves and their dependents as well

Who is eligible for the health check program?


All the employees of the corporate are eligible for the health check program

How early do I have to raise an appointment request?


The appointment request should be raised at least 3 – 4 working days prior to the checkup date. However, it is
advisable to raise the request a week in advance as an appointment may be confirmed subject to availability of
slots at the specified Diagnostic Center/hospital.

I would like to use the Health Checkup facility for my Dependents. Can I do so?
Yes, you can avail the benefit of booking discounted health checks for your dependents (Spouse, children,
parents and in-laws) by making payments through The Wellness Corner

Can I get Reimbursement Facility for the Dependents Health checkup?


Employee can claim up to INR 5000 for themselves or spouse and 4 kids; it will be reimbursed by the Corporate
or the Insurance company as a part of the GHI (Mediclaim) policy benefits

Can all the tests be done through home collection?


Home collection process will include all blood tests that are part of package.

Are there any listed hospitals or centers for medical check-up?


Yes, you can select any diagnostic Centre/hospitals from our panel network list, across locations specified, tha t
is convenient for you.

What are my booking options?


You can book your appointment via ‘The Wellness Corner’ Web portal (https://www.thewellnesscorner.com/)
for appointment booking. All other features apart from health checks will be available via app only.

Can I go for the medical check-up in evening?


Health Check requires 12 hours overnight fasting. Hence time slots are limited, and it is required that health
check be done in the morning hours only.

What should I carry to the Diagnostic Centre/ Hospital?


Following documents are required when you go for a Health Check:

Print Out of the Appointment Confirmation Email sent by Truworth Wellness:

• Photocopy of your Employee ID


• Photocopy of your Valid ID, like Driving License, Pan Card, Passport, Aadhaar Card, Voter ID Card etc.

How long will it take to complete the medical check-up?


Medical Health Checks take around 4 – 5 hours on Weekdays & more than 6 – 8 hours on Weekend to
complete, so kindly plan accordingly. For certain tests, report generation may take more than 24 hrs. In such
cases you may be asked to attend a consultation on another suitable date.

How will I receive my reports?


You will receive your report within 5 working days from the date of health checkup completion on your official
or registered email address. Soft copy of the reports will be sent to your registered email address. In case if
you have not received your reports then you are requested to contact, us on support@thewellnesscorner.com
and we will support with the details accordingly.

Will the original reports be handed over to me?
Yes, however you will have to visit the diagnostic center/ hospital to collect the original reports for Hospital/
DC visit package. For home collection package, only soft copies are available.

How can we get invoice for the dependent Health Checks?


Please note the invoice will be shared on your registered email id on the day of booking the appointment,
however you can also view the same under My Links > View More > My Orders on The Wellness Corner App.

Can I re-schedule my appointments?


Yes, you can re-schedule your appointments for a maximum of two times, up to 24 hours before the
appointment. After the second time, you will have to cancel the earlier request and raise a new request.

You can also call the Truworth Wellness Customer Care on +91-9875-00-1234, between 8 am to 7 pm Monday
to Saturday for the same.

Can I cancel my appointment?


Yes, you can cancel 24-48 hours before the appointment. You can call the Truworth Wellness Customer Care
on +91-9875-00-1234 or drop an email to support@thewellnesscorner.com between 8 am to 7 pm Monday to
Saturday

I have been advised to do a few medical investigations after the Health Check. Will the company bear the
expenses for the same?
No, any additional tests / examination outside the agreed package are not part of this program and cannot be
reimbursed.

How can I raise a query about Health checkup?

How can I raise a grievance?

HEALTH CHECK RELATED INSTRUCTIONS

When opting for a health check, please read through the package details and inclusions on the Web/ App
those shared over email upon booking the appointment. Accordingly follow the guidance applicable to the
tests chosen

FASTING & MEDICATION


a. We recommend that you fast for 12 hours prior to your Health Check-up appointment
b. You may drink water but not tea/ coffee or any other liquids
c. Completely avoid consuming alcohol at least 12 hours prior to the Health Check-up
d. If you are on thyroid medication, you may take your morning dose, however for BP medication, certain
types of pills (e.g., ß- blockers) have to be avoided on the day of the check-up. Please confirm with your
doctor if your BP medication has to be taken / avoided prior to the Health Check-up
e. If you are on diabetes medication, kindly carry your morning dose to the Hospital and you may consume
this after your blood is collected. (You should notify your service coordinator on arrival for the health check-
up regarding this)

PREPARATION FOR TESTS AND THINGS TO DO


a. For Spirometry: Please avoid smoking for 12 hours prior to the check-up and avoid using inhalers on the
day of check-up
b. For Pap Smear Test (For Females): Please note that this test cannot be done during menses (periods)
c. For Stress Test /TMT (For Males): Kindly shave the chest prior to the Health Check-up
d. For Sonography of Pelvis: You need to drink at least 2 litres water prior to your check-up (so that the bladder is
full for the test)
e. For Dexa / Bone Densitometry: Avoid Calcium and Multivitamin tablets 24 hours prior to the day of test
f. In case you are on any medications or have any illness (current or prior), you are advised to bring your
previous Medical Records
g. Wear comfortable clothing, footwear and minimum jewelry on the day of the Health Check-up
h. If youare pregnant, kindly inform the Health Check-up executive at the time of taking appointment

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
a. Ultrasonography of Pelvis for females involves Intra Vaginal Sonography for the complete examination of
the pelvic organs. If you are not comfortable with this, kindly inform the Health Check-up executives
b. Please be informed that certain tests like X-rays, Mammography and DEXA are not advised if you are likely
to be pregnant

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
a. The tests in the health check package requires you to give your blood sample, any phlebotomy can have
the following rare associated incidence, like discomfort, swelling, bruising or dizziness while or
immediately post phlebotomy, the phlebotomist would know how to deal with the same. Kindly do not

panic and inform the health check coordinator immediately for support
b. In case your blood sample gets lysed, your health check coordinator will approach you for a fresh sample
collection, the same day or on a mutually agreeable date
c. Do not exercise immediately before the tests
d. Relax and keep calm during the health checkup
e. Medical Health Checks at Diagnostic Centers / Hospitals take around 2 – 4 hours on Weekdays & more
than 6 – 8 hours on Weekends to complete, so kindly plan the day accordingly
f. Please DO NOT forget to carry the print out of email confirmation for Health check along with your
Employee ID and a Valid Government ID to the venue for availing the services
g. For certain tests, report generation may take more than 24 hours, in such cases you may be asked to
attend a consultation on another suitable date

DISCLAIMER

• Appointments are not available on Sundays


• Prescription will not be provided during the post report consultation
• Prescription will only be provided during diagnostic center / hospital visit consultation or if one takes
a consultation via Ask a Doctor on The Wellness Corner App
• All details, reports are maintained with utmost confidentiality
• Hospital/ Diagnostic center visits to be done with your own discretion
• Reports will be shared to the official / registered email address within a max of 5 working days from
the test date
• Consultation from General Physician will be provided once the appointment is done in case of
Hospital/ Diagnostic center visit. The employee has to connect with clinic / hospital concerned
team/POC at reception for the guidance on Physician or Doctor Consultation
• Expected response time from the Truworth Support Team is between 8 hours – 48 hours
depending on the query / action required
• Truworth Health Technologies Pvt Ltd (Truworth Wellness) being only a facilitator, does not make any
warranties about the completeness, reliability and accuracy of the test performed with the help of
Machines / Instruments manufactured by a third party. Further, Truworth Health Technologies Pvt Ltd
(Truworth Wellness) shall not be held liable or accountable for the laboratory/diagnostic services
offered by Third Party Laboratories/Diagnostic centers
• Truworth Wellness does not assume any responsibility / liability from Covid-19 infection and damages
arising to any of the parties while performing or availing the service s in accordance with the
respective covenants. However, parties are under an obligation to take precautions issued by
respective Government bodies with regard to Covid-19 time to time as per their own wisdom
